Ben Hall

Ben Hall is sometimes referred to as the “gentleman bushranger”. His early adult life held promise but everything changed when he met Frank Gardiner and he entered into a life of crime. Hall and his gang committed hundreds of robberies, many of which were violent. For a time, Hall had the support of the public, who respected his daring and courage and admired him for outwitting the police.

Published by Big Sky Publishing, 2014.

ISBN: 978-1-922132-69-7

'Packed in this way, with curious and ‘collectable’ facts, Ben Hall explores themes such as dissatisfaction, perception and the allure of notoriety, and offers an insight into Australian colonial history for young readers.'
