I'm thrilled to announce that my book 'Ship of Death' has been shortlisted for the biennial Frank Broeze Memorial Maritime History Book Prize, awarded by the Australian National Maritime Museum and the Australian Association for Maritime History. 

What an honour to be part of this wonderful event run by the Ipswich Teacher-Librarian Network. Here I am at the beautiful Woodlands at Marburg, hanging out with the other children's authors from QLD (Charlotte Barkla, Wenda Shurety, Alison McLennan and Candice Lemon-Scott), and with lots of cool kids from the region.
